On Friday, March 26th, Sebastián Murgueitio Ramírez successfully defended his dissertation On the Empirical Significance of Physical Symmetries
Sebastián's committee included chairs Nic Teh and Anjan Chakravartty and members Don Howard, Daniel Nolan and David Wallace.
Sebastián has accepted a post-doc position in the faculty of philosophy at The University of Oxford for the academic year 2021-2022. He will be a member of the research group “A New Philosophy of Symmetry: Gauge, Composition, and Empirical Content”, led by James Read and Nic Teh.
