HPS student Gregory Macklem and HPS alumni Erik Peterson and Charles Pence will be presenting "Darwin and Evolution: Using Historical Critiques and Responses to Address Student Misunderstanding" at the National Science Teachers Association's 67th National Conference on Science Education in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, April 12th, 2019. Their presentation will discuss how 19th-century criticisms of Darwin’s evolutionary theory map relate to student misconceptions and how the history of Darwin’s theory can be used to clarify important concepts.
