Brandy Sky Martinez is a third-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at the University of Notre Dame funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
At the broadest level, her current research examines healthy ways to manage stress.
By integrating longitudinal and experimental research designs, she investigates adaptive coping strategies and their protective effects on autonomic nervous system and endocrine functioning.
She is originally from Miami, Florida where she spent most of her time under the sun and near the ocean.
When she isn’t occupied by rigmarole of academia, she spends her time enjoying life by cooking for loved ones or being on the water.
