Center for Nano Science and Technology

NDnano explores new concepts for devices and structures that are enabled by phenomena on the nanometer scale. It promotes multidisciplinary research and education in nanoelectronics, molecular electronics, nano-bio and bio-fluidic microstructures, circuits, and architectures.

The Reilly Center and NDnano

NDnano is one of the University of Notre Dame’s strategic research investments that has included the Reilly Center as a partner since its inception. The Reilly Center organized a symposium on the legal and ethical issues facing nanotechnology in March 2009 and a conference titled Toward Regulation of Nanomaterials: A Conversation between Academia, Industry, Law, and Government on May 10-12, 2010.

NDnano's Director, Wolfgang Porod, and Associate Director, Gary Bernstein, are Reilly Fellows.
