Notre Dame – Environmental Change Initiative (ND-ECI) tackles the interrelated problems of invasive species, land use, and climate change, focusing on their synergistic impacts on water resources.





Notre Dame's Global Adaptaion Index (ND-GAIN) is the world’s leading Index showing which countries are best prepared to deal with natural disasters resulting from climate change. ND-ECI guides ND-GAIN's efforts. 




Notre Dame Center for Nano Science and Technology (NDnano) explores new concepts for devices and structures that are enabled by phenomena on the nanometer scale. It promotes multidisciplinary research and education in nanoelectronics, molecular electronics, nano-bio and bio-fluidic microstructures, circuits, and architectures. 



Center for Sustainable Energy (cSEND) aims to advance innovative energy related research, education and outreach programs to address the global challenge of creating a sustainable energy future. 





Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics (AD&T) pursues the research and development of technology which allows the monitoring of an individual’s immediate environmental and biomedical status, in the form of micro-sensing devices.
