Taylor Hartson

Taylor HartsonĀ (she/they) is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame. Their primary research interests lie at the intersection of regenerative and sustainable farming, gender and sexuality, and ethics of care for animals, farmers, and land. Through their work, they aim to better understand the impact of social and ecological relationships on modern food systems and to leverage these findings to build more robust resource and support networks for queer farmers. Taylor earned a B.A. in Sociology with honors from Calvin University in 2019.
