I am a Ph.D. candidate in the History and Philosophy of Science program. My research deals with questions of modeling and idealization in the philosophy of science, and particularly the connection between idealization and scale-based modeling techniques in contemporary physics. I also have interests in the philosophy of AI, especially in the relationship between deep learning algorithms and scale-based methods in physics.
