Biography

Jennifer Huynh is an assistant professor of American Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She finished her doctorate in Sociology at Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree at UC Berkeley. Her research expertise includes Asian American Studies, US Immigration, and Critical Refugee Studies. Her forthcoming book, Suburban Refugees, will be published by the University of California Press in 2025. Her current research examines the experiences of Southeast Asian American returnees and deportation policies. She has published qualitative research articles in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Asian American Journal of Psychology, and Ethnic and Racial Studies.
