Biography

Beverly Ndifoin is a multimedia journalist, activist, and author from Cameroon. She is a founding president of a Cameroon-based nonprofit organization known as “Eco Game Changers.” She has previously served as a weather news anchor on Cameroon’s National Television. Beverly is a 2023 Obama Leader, a TEDster, and a 2022 Mandela Washington Fellow. She recently published an environmental poetry collection titled “The Last Garden of Eden: Environmental Poetry Collection.”

Beverly holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a master’s in Applied Linguistics. She is particularly interested in understanding issues around environmental sustainability and economic development. As a journalist, she has a knack for storytelling and is keen on shining light on indigenous stories, especially ideas, people, and innovations that are making a positive impact on the environment. She volunteers as an environment correspondent for the Planet Forward Media Project at George Washington University. Beverly is the recipient of a Donald & Marilyn Keough Fellowship.
