Biography

Dana Moss is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame. Her research and teachings focus on collective resistance against repression and injustice, including the transnational repression of diaspora and refugee communities by authoritarian regimes. She teaches a Sociology elective for the Health, Humanities and Society program titled, "Movements for Health and Disability Justice," which focuses on how marginalized populations combat ability-based discrimination and environmental degradation in the contemporary world.
