Christa-Marie Singleton, MD, MPH, FACPM
Senior Medical Director, Client Engagement and Virtual Care Outcomes Research Teladoc Health
Dr. Christa-Marie Singleton is the Senior Medical Director, Client Engagement and Virtual Care Outcomes Research at Teladoc Health, serving as a senior physician leader at the intersection of medicine, business strategy, and client success. She translates virtual care solutions including chronic condition management, primary care, specialty care, and urgent care, while also leading independent clinical research initiatives that contribute to the evidence base for virtual care delivery.
Prior to coming to Teladoc Health, Dr. Singleton served as the Chief Medical Officer, US Office of Personnel Management, where she was the resident medical expert and strategic content contributor in public and private sector health delivery models to help reduce healthcare costs and improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes for the Federal Employee Health Benefit Programs’ 8.3 million federal employees, dependents, and retirees. Dr. Singleton has also served as the Chief Medical Officer, Office of Health Equity at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and has served as an advisory board member for the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions’ Board of Governors and the Atlanta Regional Commission for Health Improvement.
Dr. Singleton received her MD from the University of Louisville, her bachelor of science (Microbiology) from the University of Notre Dame, and her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She began her MPH while a pediatric resident working nights/weekends as a pediatric emergency physician in Baltimore, MD, and
also worked as a policy analyst in Washington, DC.
Dr. Singleton has been a White House Fellowship Program national finalist, the 2011 “Outstanding Scientific Award” Employee of the Year from the Atlanta Federal Executive Board, is board-certified and an elected fellow in preventive medicine, and recently received the University of Louisville 2022 Alumni Fellow for the School of Medicine. She is a volunteer physician with the Dekalb County, GA Board of Health and is the founder of Seats at the Table Collaborative, a coaching company formed to coach, catalyze, and empower women considering healthcare careers.
