Catherine Andreadis

Biography
Catherine started her PhD in August 2022 in Dr. Beth Archie’s lab in the Department of Biological Sciences. Briefly, her research interests focus on the interplay among ecological, social, and physiological factors and their effect on individual fitness, health, and survival using cardiometabolic indices. Her work surrounds a well-studied population of baboons living in the Amboseli ecosystem in southern Kenya. She also has an interest in science communication and science outreach. On campus, she is involved with AWIS (Association of Women in Science), EYH (Expanding Your Horizons), and GS-ARIND (Graduate Students Against Racial Injustice at Notre Dame).
