HPS student, Abigail Holmes, will be attending the MCMP Summer School on Mathematical Philosophy for Female Students in Munich. While there, she will be presenting a poster titled "The Use of Type Ia Supernova Remnants in Cosmology," which looks at an apparent flaw in the way supernova data are currently analyzed and the ability of these data to support alternate cosmologies.
