The Pontifical Academy of Sciences at the Vatican held a plenary conference on the Anthropocene in Rome on September 25-26, 2024. We are inviting three participants in that event to campus to reflect on the Anthropocene: Cardinal Turkson, geologist Francine McCarthy (Brock University) and historians of science Jurgen Renn (MPI Jena).
