
Dr. Elaine Abrams is a global health leader in HIV prevention and treatment of women, infants, and children and was instrumental in one of the greatest global health success stories – the elimination of maternal-to-child transmission of HIV.
As a clinician and researcher, she has led numerous innovative initiatives that have helped improve the lives of our world’s most vulnerable citizens. Her expertise has guided both US and global HIV policy through PEPFAR-funded programs and with the World Health Organization.
