Lunch & Learn Series: Communication Skills

Location: 119 O'Shag

This one-hour brown-bag lunch session will provide an overview of the message box, a tool for presenting your research to diverse and non-specialist audiences. The message box can be used to develop a grant proposal, devise your elevator pitch, design a web profile, prepare for an interview, and much more. Melinda Gormley, the Assistant Director for Research of the Reilly Center for Science, Technology and Values will host this discussion.

The Lunch & Learn Series is a Professional Development workshop open to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. It meets from 12:00 - 12:50 pm on most Fridays. The topics and locations vary. See the Professional Development Calendar for more information. Either register beforehand or show up at the event.
