Sloan Prize

This award honors Reilly Fellow and History and Philosophy of Science professor, Phillip Sloan. A $500 prize will be awarded annually to one graduate student who embodies Professor Sloan's commitment to scholarship and to one undergraduate student who in some special way embodies the mission and core values of the Reilly Center.

Cushing Memorial Prize

In honor of James T. Cushing and his contributions to the history and philosophy of physics, an annual prize of $1000 will be awarded for significant new work by younger scholars in the history and philosophical foundations of modern physics.

Reilly Scholar Awards

The Reilly Scholarship Program was established in 1985 by Mr. John D. Reilly (B.A. ’63, B.S. ’64) in honor of his father, Mr. John J. Reilly. The Program supports special scholarships for several upper-level students enrolled in the AL/ENG Program. Reilly Scholars are selected based on their academic records and a personal interview.
